The High Impact Livelihoods Enhancement Project worked with the Shabri Adivasi Vitta Va Vikas Mahamandal and the Nashik Tribal Development Department to deliver integrated livelihoods and natural resource management across five tribal districts of Maharashtra, through six CSO partners including BAIF Development Research Foundation and Lupin Foundation.
The project constructed water harvesting structures and strengthened farm-based incomes for small and marginal tribal households, alongside natural resource management activities that reduced soil erosion and improved irrigation access.
