Overview

BRLF entered into an MoU with Utkal Alumina International Limited (UAIL) in September 2020 to address water scarcity, soil erosion and low agricultural productivity in Kashipur block (Rayagada) and Th. The current phase (1 May 2025-30 April 2029) uses integrated watershed management structures to increase water availability and enhance agricultural practices, building on an earlier phase that brought water augmentation and irrigation infrastructure to 275 households.
