Overview

The MA in Rural Management is a first-of-its-kind Master’s programme, co-created by BRLF and Shiv Nadar University, designed to build a new generation of rural development professionals. Launched in 2023, it breaks from convention with a full year of immersive fieldwork woven into the curriculum, giving students grounded, practical exposure to the realities of rural and tribal India alongside academic rigor.

Two batches in, the programme has enrolled 170 students — 95 women and 75 from Adivasi communities — drawn from 16 states, with a 100% placement record so far, sending graduates directly into rural development and livelihoods careers.
